바람과 갈대만 남은 화성의 작은 시간
화성 송산면 바닷길을 따라 달리다 보면
어느 순간 세상이 천천히 조용해지는 풍경을 만나게 됩니다.

끝없이 펼쳐진 갈대밭과
햇빛 아래 흔들리는 초록빛 들판,
그리고 멀리 희미하게 보이는 도시의 윤곽.
그 한가운데에는
조용히 시간을 견디고 있는 작은 섬,
수섬이 남아 있습니다.

가까이 가지 못해 더 오래 남는 풍경
이번에는 수섬 안까지 직접 들어가지는 못했습니다.
하지만 멀리서 바라본 풍경은
오히려 더 깊게 기억 속에 남았습니다.
갈대 사이에 조용히 떠 있는 작은 숲,
햇빛 아래 반짝이는 습지,
그리고 바람 소리만 지나가는 넓은 평야.
가까이 다가가는 것보다
멀리 바라볼 때 더 아름다운 장소가 있습니다.
수섬은 그런 풍경에 가까웠습니다.
도시와 자연 사이에 남겨진 시간
수섬 주변은
일반적인 관광지와는 조금 다른 분위기를 가지고 있습니다.
화려한 시설이나 북적이는 사람 대신
넓은 습지와 갈대밭,
그리고 오래된 나무들이 조용히 자리를 지키고 있습니다.
멀리 송도 방향의 도시 풍경이 희미하게 보이지만,
이곳의 시간은 여전히 느리게 흘러갑니다.
도시와 자연이 서로를 바라보며
같은 하늘 아래 머물고 있는 느낌.
그 풍경이 유난히 인상적이었습니다.

특히 갈대와 초원이 함께 보이는 장면은
영화 속 한 장면처럼 담기기도 합니다.
조용히 걷고 싶은 날
수섬 주변 길을 걷다 보면
자연스럽게 속도가 느려집니다.
바람 소리를 듣게 되고,
햇빛의 방향을 바라보게 되고,
멀리 흔들리는 나무를 한참 바라보게 됩니다.
빠르게 소비되는 여행지가 아니라
잠시 머물며 풍경을 바라보는 장소.
그래서 더 오래 기억에 남는 것 같습니다.
화성에는 아직 이런 조용한 풍경이 남아 있었습니다.

A Landscape More Beautiful from Afar
This time, I could not walk directly into Suseom.
Yet somehow,
the distant view stayed longer in my memory.
A small forest floating among the reeds,
wetlands shining softly under sunlight,
and open fields filled only with the sound of wind.
Some places become more beautiful
when viewed quietly from a distance.
Suseom felt like one of those places.
Between the City and Nature
The atmosphere around Suseom feels very different from typical tourist destinations.
Instead of crowded attractions,
there are wide wetlands, reed fields, and old trees standing quietly.
In the far distance,
the skyline of the city can still be seen.
But here,
time moves much more slowly.
It feels as though nature and the city
are silently sharing the same sky.
